Become Miss Montana 2012

An official state program of the Miss America Organization, the Miss Montana Scholarship Program exists to provide personal and professional opportunities to young women to promote their voices in culture, politics, and the community.

Competition Requirements

• Never before competed in any National Finals of the Miss America Organization
• Must be:
  • a high school senior before the date of State competition or have received a GED
  • between the ages of 17 and 24 years of age
• Must reside in the state of Montana -OR- be enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university in the state of Montana
• Be a citizen of the United States of America
• Not now or have ever been married or a parent/pregnant
• Have not been convicted of any criminal offense and there are no criminal charges currently pending
• Good health
• Good moral character
• Do not use or consume any illegal substances or controlled substances. Do not abuse the use of alcohol, prescriptive drugs or other dangerous substances.

Become Miss Montana's Outstanding Teen

The Miss Montana's Outstanding Teen Program (MMOT) is an official preliminary competition to Miss America's Outstanding Teen Program (MAOT). Promoting scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement among Montana's teens, Miss Montana's Outstanding Teen exemplifies what is right with today's teens. 

Competition Requirements

To compete, contestants must exhibit the following:

• Be a young lady between the ages of 13 and 17.
• Be a United States citizen.
• Meet residency requirements for competing in a certain town or state.
• Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization.
• Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements.
• Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the state program in which you compete.
• Must not be eligible to compete in the Miss America Competition.
